Many people knows about the Red Fort, it is a very nice place for roam of tourist. Many peoples comes from abroad to see it. Red fort, it is pride for India. Red Fort, it is Located in the old Delhi near Chandni Chowk.
History...
In 1638 when Shah jahan arrived in Delhi. Then came one idea in his mind. They ordered for building the qila. May 13, 1638 the first stone was placed of the castle's name. It was built in the near of Delhi Yamuna River. Why we call it red fort because it is made of red stone So This fortress is now known as the Red Fort. Shah Jahan also built a town it name is Shahazanabad And Surrounded by the fort in 1639. Shahazanabad Delhi was the seventh Muslim city. 4 main gates 1 Delhi Gate, 2 Kashmere Gate, 3 Ajmeri Gate, 4 Lahori Gate in this city .The work of the fort was completed in 1648. It was the new capital for king And He changed his capital from Agra to Delhi. Some people are said that,it was also known by the name of redcoat. Hindu king Prithviraj Chauhan was the capital of the final round. Shah Jahan was defeated Prithviraj Chauhan and these cities taken away from him. Then he put the name Shahazanabad.
Inside The Red fort...
1. Diwan-e-Aam, here kings listened to complaints and problems of common people and try to solve it.
2. Diwan-e-Khas, it was built for the king and his private meeting and conference.
4. Mumtaz Khan Red Fort, The Red Fort was one of 6 castle. But Now it is a museum.
5. Nahr-i-Behisht, it is located on the east end. on the terrace is line vaulted buildings. from where we can see the yamuna river. The pavilion is connected to a small canal.
6. Moti Masjid, is west of the hammam . It was erected in the 1859 and it was the private mosque of Aurangzeb.
7. Hayat Bakhsh Bagh, It is a life give garden.The last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was built in 1842.

- Independence Day on August 15 by the Prime Minister or the national flag is hoisted.
- There is also a sound and light show in the evening. Which describes the history of geography.
- It has been held for several tourist facility like Guide, canteen, toilets, wheelchairs, parking, etc.
- The fort is closed on every Mondays. Rest of the day it is open from 8 am to 6 pm.
